Coyote Run Golf Course is a championship course, whose 18 holes span nearly 6500 yards. It has breathtaking views of the Superstition Mountains and boasts numerous lakes, greens and gentle hills with lush, mature landscaping. Coyote Run is challenging enough for the most experienced golfers, but its wide fairways make it friendly to beginning golfers as well.

Heron Lakes Golf Course Leisure World's shorter course (4024 yards) is perfect for golfers new to the game, while simultaneously being challenging enough to improve even the most skilled golfer's short game. The narrower tree-lined fairways challenge golfers of all skill levels. The attractive golf landscaping and lakes blend into the immaculately maintained homes that adjoin the course.

No matter your level of proficiency - from novice to expert - we have a golf program for you! Leisure World Arizona is proud to host Men's Golf, Ladies' Golf, Couples' Programs and Tournaments of all kinds. You can join our Men's Day, Ladies' Day, 9 and 18-hole options, match and medal play, golf luncheons - as many ways to get involved as you can imagine! Play one of our organized weekly rounds or participate in one of the many local, statewide and international tournaments, fundraisers and other challenging, fun events!

Travis Fish, our Director of Golf, is a Class-A PGA golf professional. Travis has been a 3 time recipient of Golf World Business Magazine's, Best 100 Golf Shop Operations and was awarded Top 50 Public Course by Golf World Magazine. Travis is a strong player, accomplished teacher and a consummate promoter of the game of golf. He creates a welcoming atmosphere for family and friends to enjoy the game of golf.

Travis is a sought after golf instructor and club fitter. He prides himself in keeping up with the latest developments in golf equipment and also continually looks for better ways to communicate and teach his students with the use of digital video and computer technology.

Teaching Philosophy
Travis's teaching philosophy is to help students achieve and improve their swing dynamics, while at the same time gaining an understanding of how the golf club should perform. He believes that each student has their ideal swing based on their natural tendencies, physical strength and limitations. If the student can understand the dynamics of their golf swing and golf club then they will have a greater success rate at a quicker pace.

Travis has been able to take what he has learned from top instructors, as well as his own studies of the golf swing, to help golfers of all skill levels reach their golfing potential. He has helped numerous junior and high school players receive college scholarships and taught players of various skill levels, from the amateur to the professional.

“I believe that the instructor/coach’s responsibility is to share their enthusiasm for the game and help the student learn. I am a strong believer in setting goals (whatever they may be), this provides purpose and acts as a measuring tool for improvement.”
